  • Aston Martin DB6 Vantage 1968 (F) Red

    DEPOSIT TAKEN 09-10-2010

Introduced at the 1965 Motor Show, the Aston Martin DB6 was notable as the first model to be engineered at the new factory following the move from Feltham to Newport Pagnell. Only 1,967 were made between 1965 & 1971 and from the front the DB6 looked almost identical to the DB5 but the greatest difference is at the rear with the new 'Kamm' tail. This combined with the relocated rear axle and lengthened wheelbase provides more stability at high speed. Other recognition points include the return of front-door quarter windows, Oil Cooler, lowered front Air Scoop, Quarter-Bumpers, Roof line raised 2" giving a more steeply raked Windscreen and overall length increased by approximately 2" giving more leg room for rear passengers.

Originally sold by us to the current owner in 2003, this lovely MK1 Vantage was first registered in 1968 and is finished in its original colour of Fiesta Red with a full Black leather interior piped in Red, Black carpets, Electric Windows, Websato Sun Roof, period Radio/Cassette, 3995cc DOHC S6 Engine producing 325 bhp, ZF 5 Speed Manual Gearbox, Power Steering & Chrome Wire Wheels.

It has now covered only 69,400 miles from new and has been serviced regularly + a new Clutch was fitted in 2008 (less than 1,000 miles ago). It is in beautiful condition and is lovely to drive.
