Autobianchi Bianchina Berlina 1967 (F) Blue Light
The Autobianchi Bianchina was based on the Fiat 500 but featured a completely new stylish body designed by Luigi Rapi and the first models rolled off the production lines in September 1957. With many premium design and equipment features, the Bianchina was a luxurious recreational mini-car specifically aimed at affluent middle-class Italian families.
Just arrived from Italy after a full restoration and presented in near ‘Concours’ condition throughout, this lovely example was manufactured in Fiat-Autobianchi plant in Desio, Monza, Italy in December 1967 was first registered in Mantua, Lombardy on 20th April 1968.
It retains its original build specification and is finished in the beautiful Light Blue with a new Tan interior, rebuilt 499cc Engine, 4 Speed Gearbox and retains all of its original fittings. It has just been MOT’d & UK Registered as SMA 384F and there are 72,000 Kilometers showing on the speedometer, but we cannot verify this as original.
This is a truly stunning example that is fantastic to drive and is very useable. It should surely become a collectors item in years to come.
