Mercedes-Benz 420 SL 1988 (E) Grey
Supplied new by Mercedes Benz dealer Hughes of Beaconsfield and first registered on 3rd June 1988, this stunning 420SL is a 'matching numbers' car and is finished in the very rare Pearl Grey Metallic with a full Grey Leather interior including rear child seats, Black Mohair Soft Top, factory Hard Top, 4.2 litre Fi Engine, Automatic Transmission, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Electric windows and passenger door mirror, Stereo Radio/CD player, remote Central locking/Alarm and sitting on its original Mercedes Flat Face Alloy Wheels.
This car was sold by us to the current owners in May 2010 and has only had 3 former keepers and has now covered a very low 75,241 miles from new with a Full and comprehensive Service History.
In 2013 the car had a huge list of new parts fitted including a 'Bulkhead' repair and this invoice totalled over £7,000. They have covered 10,000 miles during their ownership and it was driven to their house in France every year and only used during the summer months before being put back in their garage.
It has 22 stamps in the service book with the first 12 by the supplying Mercedes dealer Hughes of Beaconsfield up to 1999 and then by specialist dealers with the last full Service and MOT being carried out in January 2021.
It comes with all its original books and manuals, a host of invoices, MOT Certificates, 2 keys and it is clear on all HPi registers including the National Mileage Register.
The car is in fantastic condition throughout and drives superbly and really does need to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated.
Car on display @ our showrooms in Mortlake, South West London.
