MG B Roadster MK1 1967 (F) Green
This near 'Concours' MGB MK1 Roadster Chassis No: GHN3/127188 was first registered in London on 1st November 1967 with the registration number SGJ 808F and has only had 3 previous owners from new and only 2 in the last 40 years with the last UK based Italian owner having bought the car in November 1993.
He exported the car to Milan in Italy in 1995 and registered the car there before it underwent a complete Nut and Bolt restoration to an exceptional and near concours standard in the late 1990's which any inspection of the car will reveal. The owner did drive the car to and from Italy each year and in December 1998 MG Services in Watford fitted a new 'unleaded' Engine and reconditioned Gearbox with associated new parts. The car remained in Italy with the occasional trip back to England until the he came back to the UK permanently in June 2015 and it was re-registered here in June 2015 on its original number plate.
The car is finished in its original colour scheme of British Racing Green with Black Leather seats piped in Red, Black Carpets, new Black Vinyl Soft Top, its original Bakelite Steering Wheel, Chrome Boot rack and new MWS Chrome Wire Wheels with Pirelli tyres. The car has now covered 122,700 miles from new, but only 16,400 miles with the new Engine. It was last MOT'd (although exempt) on 19th October 2020 with No Advisories
We have had many restored MGB's through our showrooms over the years, but this is as good as any we have seen with new Heritage shell's and it really is a stunning car in exceptional condition and drives beautifully. It really does need to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated.
Upon sale it will be given a pre-sales service and it will come with our own 6 Month Mechanical Warranty which can be extended at additional cost if required.
Car on display @ our showrooms in Mortlake.
