  • Triumph Stag MK2 1973 (M) Yellow

    Description

According to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, this lovely Triumph Stag MK2 - Vin No: LD/30463-O was built in Coventry on 8th November 1973 and supplied to its first owner first in Perthshire, Scotland and registered on 3rd January 1974.

It is finished in its original colour of Mimosa Yellow with re-trimmed Blue leather Seats, Black carpets, Black Mohair Soft Top, Laminated Windscreen, Sundym Tinted Glass original Triumph 3.0 V8 Engine, 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd & 4th gears, an uprated cooling system with electric fan as well as its original viscous fan and it is sitting on its original Triumph Alloy Wheels.

It is in overall very good condition for an older restoration with very nice bodywork, albeit with some micro blistering of the paint on some panels but mechanically it is excellent and drives beautifully.

It has a very good history file dating back to the very early 1980's and it was owned by a Met Police officer from Northolt from1989 through to 2002 who completely restored the car and had a new 'unleaded' Engine fitted in April 1997 when the car had covered 97,000 miles. It has now covered a genuine 120,000 miles from new, but only 23,000 miles on the new engine.

The car does not have a Hard Top, but we do have one in an excellent condition in Saffron Yellow which can be purchased with the car if required and we can arrange to have this repainted to match.
