Triumph TR6 125 bhp 1973 (M) Blue
This original RHD 'matching numbers' car is finished in its original specification of French Blue with Black vinyl trim, Black vinyl soft top, 2498cc 6 Cylinder Fuel Injected Engine, 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd & 4th gears and sitting on its original Steel Wheels.
According to the BMIHT Heritage Certificate, the car was built in Coventry on 6th March 1973 and was supplied new by Lex Mead Ltd in Cheltenham to its first owner on 15th August 1973. The car is HPi clear and has now covered a believed genuine 87,150 with no discrepancy indicated on the National Mileage Register.
It was purchased by the previous owner in May 2010 and it was regularly maintained by Triumph specialist ‘Enginuity’ in London during his 6 years of ownership. There are invoices in the history file from Enginuity amounting to almost £11,000 for works carried out including servicing, new 150bhp inlet Manifolds, a new Water pump, new Radiator, new Tyres and a complete repaint of the exterior in March 2016.
We sold the car to the current owner in April 2016 and he has spent a further £2,000 with Enginuity on having a new Clutch and ancillaries + upgraded and strengthened differential mountings and a new MOT in March 2018 - with no advisories!
The car is presented in fantastic condition throughout with near perfect panel fit and is one of the nicest TR6's that we have driven and in fact we took the car to the Le Mans Classic in 2016.
Upon sale, the car will receive a new MOT and pre-sales service and come with our own 6 month mechanical Warranty that that can be upgraded and extended at additional cost if required. It is also now Road Tax exempt.
Car on display at our showrooms in Mortlake, SW London.
